Course Overview
The class is now offered online and the cost for the class is $168. The class handouts are included as downloads on the class page.
Arizona has an occupational radiofrequency radiation exposure standard incorporated into the statutes (Title 9). These rules are administered by the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Radiation Control and the rules incorporate by reference, the IEEE C95.1, 1999 RF Standards for occupational exposure limits. Further, the rules require certain RF sources be registered and surveyed annually. Training for operators and other exposed personnel is also required.
A multiple choice test is offered following the class and those that pass receive a certificate.
The class has been approved for three hours of CME by the American Board of Health Physics under the approval number 2023-11-03-353.
